Louisville’s Damion Lee: full-time baller, part-time rapper

He spit hot fire, but he’s not to be confused with Making the Band’s Dylan. Louisville’s Damion Lee certainly gets buckets as the Cardinal’s leading scorer, but he also has an interesting talent off the court as well.

Anyone that attended ACC media day may already know, but Lee has some rap skills.

He even showcased them with a couple NC State players at the event back in October.

“I used to be shy about it,” Lee told SI.com’s Campus Rush. “It was just a hobby, just something to clear my mind … I’m more comfortable with it [today] because I’m more comfortable with myself.”

This is no gimmick, Lee is serious, having written rhymes since middle school. Once he’s done hoopin’ he fully intends on dropping a mixtape. A graduate transfer from Drexel, Lee is also Louisville’s team capitan.

His name is also included in the 2016 Wooden Award Midseason Top 25.
