Timber Creek (Orlando, Fl) running back Jacques Patrick (6’1, 224) is still casting a wide recruiting net, but the two schools he favors are the Florida State Seminoles and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Recruiting experts believe Patrick is leaning towards Florida State, but you can never count out Nick Saban and his recruiting mystique.
According to Rivals.com, Saban has brought in the top recruiting classes the past four years, and six of the last seven. Alabama is not the only well he draws from, he has landed prospects all over the country, notables include Trent Richardson (Pensacola, FL) Amari Cooper (Miami, FL), Landon Collins (Geismar, LA), Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (Orlando, FL), and many more. In fact, out of the six five star recruits Saban reeled in from the 2014 class, three of them were from out-of-state: offensive tackle Cameron Robinson (Monroe, LA), defensive back Tony Brown (Beaumont, TX), and defensive end Da’Shawn Hand (Woodbridge, VA).
Patrick spoke about his favorites to Rivals.com,
“Those are the two schools that have cemented themselves in my top five,” Patrick stated. “I’m going to release the rest of my top five after I visit those two schools at the end of the summer, including (a visit to) Florida too. Florida’s going to be my last visit of the summer, when I go for Friday Night Lights.”
The talented running back will also visit Ohio State and has interest in Michigan, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame.
Patrick will be announcing his decision on October 27 and has made it clear it will be a final decision.
One lucky school is about to get a great prospect.
