Maryland Adds Four-Star Receiver

Maryland head coach Randy Edsall received big news when Imhotep Inst. Charter School (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) wide receiver D.J. Moore committed to the Terrapins.

Moore was on Maryland’s campus last weekend for “The Big Show” and decided it was time to make the move.

He spoke about his decision to,

“My mom loved it down there,” Moore said. “She really liked the school and I really liked everything too. They recruited me heavy, I felt the love, so I just decided that there wasn’t really any reason not to get this over with. I knew I wanted to go to Maryland.”

Moore improved his stock tremendously over the past few months, receiving eight scholarship offers in a two month span. He has a strong knack for making big plays. In his junior season, Moore racked up 844 yards on just 41 receptions, while scoring 13 touchdowns.

He is the sixteenth prospect to join Maryland’s 2015 class.

Moore chose Maryland over Boston College, Connecticut, Illinois, Rutgers, Virginia, among others.
