Four-star defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie is headed to Knoxville.
McKenzie made it official, citing the university as his second home. He chose the Vols over Arizona.
“It’s just a second home,” McKenzie said during his announcement on television. “Everything about it I loved from top to bottom. Everything about it was just a perfect fit for me.”
His father, Reggie McKenzie, happens to be the general manager of the Oakland Raiders and played collegiate football at Tennessee.
According to Rivals.com, McKenzie is the No. 31 overall player in the country and the fourth ranked defensive tackle.He is the twentieth prospect to commit to Butch Jones for the 2015 class. As of today, the Vols have the No. 5 ranked class overall.
