Derrius Guice Decommits From LSU

Catholic HS (Baton Rouge, LA)  running back Derrius Guice announced via his Twitter account early Wednesday morning he has decommitted from LSU and is going to take all five of his official visits.

Guice, one of the most sought after prospects in the country, had been committed to the Tigers since May 31.

Some believe this decision was made in spite of head coach Les Miles, who benched freshman quarterback Brandon Harris after his first career start against Auburn.

Others believe this is an eighteen year-old who just wants to enjoy the recruiting process but will ultimately sign with the hometown favorite Tigers in February.

Can you really blame him?

Guice did go on to say that LSU is still his favorite but he wants to make sure he makes the best decision for himself.

Although the future is ultra-bright with true freshmen Leonard Fournette and Darrel Williams already at the helm, adding Guice and fellow (not anymore) commit Nicholas Brosette would give opposing defenses nightmares for the next three years.

Stay tuned for any further news and/or updates regarding this talented running back’s recruitment.
