With the NFL Draft coming up on Thursday night, Todd Gurley is hoping to hear his name called in the first round and hopefully in the top 20 selections.
Gurley, who is regarded by some draft experts as one of the top prospects with the most upside in the entire 2015 draft class, tore his ACL in mid-November at Georgia and is still recuperating.
He returned to Indianapolis last weekend for the NFL Combine medical re-check and teams were very pleased with his progressions.
Now there is more good news for NFL scouts as the former Georgia running back posted a video on Instagram of him sprinting on a treadmill.
The expectation is that Gurley, who scored nine touchdowns in his final season with the Bulldogs, will be ready to play for a team come Week One, but his status for training camp and his production when does hit the field is up in the air.
With a deep class of backs available, will a team want to risk a high-selection on a running back who has already torn a knee ligament this early in his career?
We will soon find out, but this latest video post is a positive step in the right direction for Gurley.
