The St. Louis Rams currently hold the tenth overall pick tonight, and GM Les Snead could be looking to move up for a big name. According to Bleacher Report’s Dan Pompei, Snead could have his eyes on Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper.
Cooper is projected as a Top 5 pick, so moving up in the draft to select him would certainly cost the Rams a pretty penny, likely their pick this year as well as future selections.
The team is in dire need of a top wide receiver, as Stedman Bailey and Kenny Britt are far from No. 1 options at the position and Brian Quick is working his way back from major shoulder surgery.
On top of that, 2013 first rounder Tavon Austin has shaped up to be a Grade A draft bust.
Neither team has suggested a willingness to trade down as of yet, but anything goes on Draft Day. For the right price, anything could be available.
