Two more Oklahoma Sooners to transfer?

Reports have surfaced that the Oklahoma University Sooners football roster is getting even more of a facelift. Which of these moves are actually happening, however, remains to be seen.

OUInsider for 247Sports said early Monday afternoon that sources have confirmed that defensive backs Tito Windham and Marcus Green “both plan to transfer out.”

Per OUInsider:

Windham is “gone with no chance to come back,” while head coach Bob Stoops has still left the door open for Green to remain in the program, though it appears that will not be the case.

Green took to Twitter just a couple hours later to say the reports of him transfering are false, per CollegeSpun. Given that players have in the past denied such reports only to transfer anyways, it remains to be seen where Green will end up.

Both reported moves–whether they happen or not–come a day after promising wide receiver K.J. Young was dismissed for “violating team rules,” per a Yahoo!Sports report.

Not even a week earlier, announcements arose that running back Keith Ford would be leaving via transfer. Ford was the Sooners lead rusher before suffering a broken fibula last season, then being suspended in March for violating both academic and team rules.
