Oklahoma commit shines at 3×3 World Championships

Many people may not be aware that the FIBA U-18 3×3 World Championships are currently taking place, but the Oklahoma Sooners have certainly been paying attention and they have to be thrilled with the performance from four-star point guard commit Payton Pritchard.

Pritchard is one of the many talented players representing the United States at the tournament in Hungary and he went off over the weekend to help lift the USA to the quarterfinals.

During Saturday’s game against Poland, Pritchard lit up the scoreboard with nine baskets from behind the arc.

In 3×3, the three-pointers only count for two-points, but everyone watching recognized the impressive range and accuracy from distance that Pritchard showed.

Now, we will just have to wait and see if Pritchard is able to keep the hot hand when the USA takes on France in the quarterfinals.
