Former Duke Blue Devil Justise Winslow was drafted by the Miami Heat with the tenth pick last night and received a warm welcome from the fans. However, Winslow also received quite the welcome from Heat First Lady Gabrielle Union, wife of franchise face and star guard Dwyane Wade.

Can’t really argue with Union there.
Wade’s first name is spelled, well, unconventionally, as is Winslow’s. One can only imagine what it was like for either man when they were in school and the teacher started taking attendance.
“Alright then. Jus…TYCE Winslow? Dw-YANE Wade? Am I saying that right?”
Fortunately, this is just some harmless rookie hazing that Winslow is having to endure. In a few months, Heat fans and basketball fans as a whole will embrace the unique spelling of his name and won’t even care about it once he’s playing great basketball in South Beach.
