Ohio State Buckeyes safety Tyvis Powell recently had some words for former Big Ten rival and new NBA draftee Sam Dekker, particularly after a picture of Dekker mowing his mother’s lawn surfaced on the former Badger’s Instagram.

Sure enough, Powell took to Twitter and offered up some trash talk.
Just saw the Sam Dekker post on sports center. No way he can cut the grass better than me! #GuessHisMomDontPlayEither

Definitely some trash talk for the ages, as this is probably the first time that one athlete has called out another over their lawn-mowing abilities. Just why Powell felt the need to do so is a mystery that remains unsolved.
Either way, maybe the two should get together at either Ohio Stadium or Camp Randall Stadium, or even a neutral location, to see who mows a strip of field more precisely or effectively. It’d certainly add some fun to the Big Ten rivalry even though Dekker was recently drafted 18th overall by the NBA’s Houston Rockets. Perhaps the two should make a public event of it with all proceeds going to charity?
Until Dekker responds, however, and if he does at all, Powell will have to be satisfied with having the last word and preparing for the upcoming football season in which he and his team will defend their national championship.
