Oklahoma RB Joe Mixon finds motivation

Redshirt freshman Joe Mixon says he is finding motivation from his “haters.” The Oklahoma Sooners running back missed his entire freshman season, after being charged with a misdemeanor at the start of the 2014 season.

Mixo missed the entire 2014 season following an incident that involved striking another Oklahoma student, but is back and will be playing with the Sooners come August.

However, some criticism is coming onto the Oklahoma football program as of late.

The reports behind Mixon’s charges are reportedly about an altercation with a female student. With the recent events surrounding FSU’s football program, some are upset with Mixon coming back onto the team.

Mixon is saying that he is using this criticism as motivation for the rest of the season. It would probably be the best for Mixon and the Sooners if he stays under the radar for a while.
