Over time, head coach Les Miles and the LSU Tigers have developed a reputation for finding under recruited players and turning them into stars. Wide receiver Da’Monte Coxie may fit well in that category and announced Saturday that he has committed to play for the Tigers. The Louisiana native entered an LSU weekend camp with offers from only McNeese State, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Miss and Tulane, but left having proven himself to the Tigers coaching staff.

The three star recruit possesses excellent size standing at 6-foot-3 and could be a serious red zone threat for LSU. Although he may not contribute right away, Coxie is certainly not a player to forget about down the line.
