Video: Samford DL sets school record with 725-pound squat

Samford defensive lineman Michael Pierce is ready to stake his claim to being one of the strongest players in college football. How will he go about that? Well, by setting a school record with an insane squat.

While Pierce set the record about a week ago, the video of his miraculous feat — which was 725-pounds — is really starting to gain steam around the web.

Check out the record-setting squat below:

If that wasn’t impressive enough, Pierce power cleaning 405-pounds is also a thing.

Is there anything this guy can’t do? I wouldn’t want to be matched up with him across the line.
