Vols fans receive great wedding gift from Butch Jones

SEC football fandom is more than just fandom, but a borderline religion, and a pair of Tennessee Volunteers fans nearing their wedding day got plenty of reason to continue rooting for their team when appearing on The Paul Finebaum Show recently.

The couple, Andrew Brown and Cheyenne Martin, were appearing on the show to discuss how Miss Martin had actually written to the SEC to change the kickoff time of the Vols’ game against Florida in Gainesville on September 26, their wedding day, so that the men at the reception could focus on celebrating and not on the game.

The kickoff time is still listed as “TBD,” but Brown & Martin got an excellent surprise when Vols head football coach Butch Jones randomly showed up on set and congratulated them on their special day.

Thus, though the kickoff time of the game remains up in the air, at least the happy couple will be able to celebrate their marriage with the knowledge that it has been blessed by Coach Jones!
