The Eastern Michigan Eagles football team will be ditching their traditional green and white uniforms for one week during the 2015 college football season. That special moment will come when the Eagles play host to the Army at Rynearson Stadium on Sept. 26.
The game is dubbed the “Washtenaw 100” game and Eastern Michigan will be busting out a new, patriotic look.
Eastern Michigan’s uniforms will be primarily gray, with a green outline on the numbers. On the chest of the jersey, a white block “E” with a green background takes center stage.
The patriotic twist comes on the shoulders, with the stars on the right shoulder and stripes on the left.
