Alabama has a championship-themed coffee table

The Alabama Crimson Tide football program is a very storied one, so much that the championship rings sometimes need to be stored in odd places.

As ESPN’s Danny Kanell reported on Twitter, during a visit to Tuscaloosa, the university has gone so far as to put title rings on a coffee table!

Pretty slick, right? The footballs behind the rings just make the table more of a conversation piece.

It’s pretty safe to say that Alabama has raised the bar in terms of coffee table presentations. While you or your family may simply have books on random nude photography, stray cats in Istanbul, various plants or other random subjects, the University of Alabama has championships.

Just imagine how a conversation about the rings would go.

“What, these? Oh, they’re nothing. Just championship rings that represent four of the 15 national titles the university has won in football. No biggie.”

Alabama will look to make that number 16, when the team opens the season against Wisconsin at Dallas’ AT&T Stadium on September 5.
