The first week of the 2015 high school football season kicked off last Friday as MaxPreps’ seventh-ranked IMG Academy (FL) and quarterback Shea Patterson suffered an honorable upset to in-state rival American Heritage, 19-7.
In response to a plethora of college football programs releasing their own teaser trailers for the upcoming season, a Nevada-based high school program, Bishop Gorman and head coach Kenny Sanchez, got their feet wet and involved themselves in the trendy hype video buzz.
The 2015 Gorman Gaels football squad features a Texas A&M commitment in sophomore quarterback Tate “Manziel” Martell, who steered the Gaels to a 70-28 win over Reed in Nevada’s NIAA state championship last year. Also contributing offensively were running backs Russell Booze (232 yards, TD) and Muhammad Ali’s grandson, Biaggio Walsh (137 yards, 2 TD).
