Georgia, Tennesse lead highest average ticket price in SEC

How much would you pay to see a regular season matchup in the SEC? For your wallet’s sake, let’s hope you are not a Georgia fan.

According to, the average ticket price of a Bulldog home game is a whopping $238.70. Sitting just behind Georgia are the Tennesse Volunteers with an average ticket price of $214.15.

Tennessee finished the season with a 7-6 record last year, third worst record in the SEC, so it’s a bit shocking how expensive their ticket is relative to the rest of the conference.

To watch perennial NCAA contender Alabama play at home, you would have to pay ~$170 (#5 on the list), which is a relative steal given their loyal fanbase and historic success.

With three BCS National Championship titles in the last six years and eight consecutive winning seasons, Crimson Tide fans can watch their team beat up on the opponent and still have some cash leftover.
