Darshon McCullough of Marist High School made quite the name for himself on Friday night.
During a game against Caravan under the bright lights of Soldier Field, McCullough was able to take a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown. Returning a kick 99 yards is impressive in and of itself, but it is the way McCullough rumbled down the field that was impressive.
At around the Caravan 35-yard line, McCullough ran into traffic and was nearly brought down from behind.
However, he was able to spin away from the contact and keep his balance as he regained his composure before finishing off the touchdown run.
It was quite the impressive feat.
