Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide do not fool around. So, with a disappointing performance last weekend, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the team’s offensive coordinator, Lane Kiffin, could be on the hot seat.
In fact, there are rumors making the rounds that Kiffin is going to be fired.
The reason for the firing is even worse. Depending on what rumor you look at, Kiffin has either had improper relations with the wife of a booster or head coach Nick Saban’s daughter.
Yikes.

Those rumors, however, have yet to be confirmed.

It will certainly be something worth watching as the season continues. If the Crimson Tide can’t take their play to the next level and find themselves out of the College Football Playoff picture as the season nears its end, Kiffin could very well be looking for a new job in 2016.
For now, however, we just have to sit back and wait to see whether this smoke will lead us to a fire.
