Nick Saban praises Georgia RB Nick Chubb

One of the best games of the weekend will go down in Athens on Saturday, when the Alabama Crimson Tide take on the Georgia Bulldogs. On Monday, Alabama head coach Nick Saban sounded off on the running back his team will face.

When Saban began chatting about Georgia’s Nick Chubb, it was nothing but praise.

“Nick Chubb is very strong,” Saban said, via SEC Nation. “Physical. Fast. Explosive. He’s got power. So he is a complete back in every sense of the word. He’s effective in their screen game, so you can’t discount him as a receiver in any way, shape or form. This guy is by far the best back we’ve played against all year long.”

Chubb has rushed for 599 yards and seven total touchdowns this season.

It will be very interesting to see what kind of strategy Saban and the Crimson Tide dial up in order to slow Chubb down, but it will be crucial to keep the Bulldogs’ running game in check if they want to leave Athens with the win.

Georgia and Alabama are set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
