New Georgia head coach Kirby Smart has been hard at work trying to complete his staff with the Bulldogs already and it looks like he could be close to finished. He just made a big pickup for the 2016 season.
According to reports, Smart has hired Shane Beamer, son of now-retired Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer, to his staff. He will reportedly coach tight ends and special teams for the Bulldogs.

Beamer coached under his father at Virginia Tech since 2011. He also played wide receiver for the Hokies in the 1990’s.
Smart has done a great job picking up big names for his staff in 2016. Having Beamer coaching his special teams gives fans hopes that we get to see Beamer Ball a little more in the future.
