The LSU Tigers are happy to have freshman stud Ben Simmons, even if it is just for one year before he likely declares for the 2016 NBA Draft. Simmons’ talent is obvious, and a number of prominennt figures in the sport have sounded off on his talent.
One of those people is NBA legend Magic Johnson, who had nothing but praise for the freshman.
Magic weighed in with his thoughts on Simmons, saying he believes the freshman is the best all-around player that he has seen since LeBron James.
LSU's Ben Simmons is the best all around player I've seen since LeBron James came out of high school straight to the NBA!

Simmons has played in 13 games throughout the course of the 2015-16 season, averaging 20.5 points, 13.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. At 6-foot-10 and 225 pounds, Simmons has the potential to become a superstar at the next level. Seeing a player like Johnson call him the best player since James shows the hype he has around them.
If Simmons continues working on his game as hard as he has been, there is no doubt that he will get to where he needs to be.
