Carson Wentz throws first TD pass in 8 games

After missing the last eight games with a broken wrist, North Dakota State starting quarterback Carson Wentz was back in action for the Bison in the FCS National Championship against Jacksonville State.

While many wondered how he would look after missing so much time, Wentz showed that he was just as good as ever when he led the Bison downfield early in the second quarter for the first touchdown of the game. The drive culminated with Wentz’s first touchdown pass since October on an eight-yard pass to underrated tightend Andrew Bonnet.
