LB recruit Tim Hart de-commits from Vols, rips coaching staff

Class of 2016 three-star linebacker Tim Hart has de-committed from Tennessee and names the coaching staff as his reason. Hart, who currently plays at Memphis University School, announced his decision on Twitter in a note that just tore the Vols’ staff to shreds.

Hart’s reasons for de-committing are his own, but it’s clear that he’s none too happy with the way the coaching staff communicated with him. But to say that other players de-committed for the same reason? Sure, high school athletes de-commit from programs regularly, but Hart is the only one so far to be so brutally honest as to why he withdrew his commitment to Tennessee.

On top of the Vols, he is weighing offers from Illinois, Memphis, California, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Indiana, Missouri and LSU. National Signing Day is just over a week away, so Hart will definitely be a name to watch.
