ESPN College GameDay will head to Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence next week for the Big 12/SEC matchup between Kansas and Kentucky, according to an announcement from ESPN.
The morning show will begin at 11 a.m. ET and then there will be an afternoon show at 4 p.m., all on ESPN. This is the seventh time that Lawrence will have a visit from College GameDay, including a split-show with Wichita State next month.
But the site is perfect because though it may just seem like another non-conference game, let’s not forget that Kansas and Kentucky squared off in the championship game of the 2012 NCAA Tournament, with Kentucky pulling off an overtime victory on the back of future No. 1 pick Anthony Davis.
Either way, it should be a great pregame show to watch!
