Russell Wilson to be Wisconsin’s 2016 Commencement Speaker

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will return to Wisconsin in a few months and be the commencement speaker at graduation, according to a video posted to the university’s Twitter.

Wilson played his final year of eligibility at Wisconsin in 2011 and had 33 touchdown passes as the Badgers went 11-3 (6-2 Big Ten) before losing to Oregon in the Rose Bowl. He has since turned the Seahawks into a regular contender and won Super Bowl XLVIII.

Needless to say, for any Badgers students who were on the fence about actually walking at graduation, now they have some extra incentive to show up!
