Texas hackers change traffic sign, troll Oklahoma

One of the biggest and most intense rivalries in all of college football is that between Big 12 staples Texas and Oklahoma, who annually play each other in the Red River Rivalry. Texas won the matchup in 2015 despite having a rough season overall, but Oklahoma won the Big 12 and made the College Football Playoff while Texas finished 5-7 (4-5 Big 12) and didn’t make a bowl game.

Despite that, not to mention the season being over, a group of Texas fans still chose to hack into a digital traffic sign in Austin to post a specific message and local NBC affiliate KXAN posted a picture to Twitter.

Odd choice of words, considering how the Longhorns have been struggling for a few years now and Oklahoma has won three Big 12 titles in the past six seasons. Be that is it may, however, rivalries are rivalries and in terms of keeping it alive creatively, especially during the offseason, Round 1 goes to the Longhorns.
