Of all the quarterbacks in the 2016 NFL Draft, there is none more debated than Michigan State’s Connor Cook. He’s gone from being the highest-ranked signal caller to a player that will be lucky to make it into the first round.
Though his stock has fluctuated dramatically over the last few months, there are still coaches that believe they can fix what he does wrong.
“He has all the pieces but he’s never put the puzzle together,” one former NFL GM told NFL.com. “Coordinators and quarterback coaches always think they can fix those kinds of guys so they fight the hardest for them in the draft rooms I’ve been in.”
Whether he can be fixed remains to be seen, but one team is certain to take a chance on him. If you want to know who we think will take that chance, check out the latest Campus Sports Mock Draft.
His overall accuracy needs work, and he needs to learn to be more settled in the pocket. If a coach can fix that, then that team may have a future stud on their hands.
