With the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine just a week away, news is starting to trickle in regarding what attendees may and may not do.
According to reports, Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell is considering not running at the annual event in Indianapolis. Treadwell has many scouts and teams questioning his overall speed, which makes this potential decision a bit of a head scratcher.
Call me crazy, but it may not be a smart idea for a player that has questions surrounding his speed to not run. Then again, maybe he’d rather let his hands do the talking to teams rather than his speed and agility. We’ll find out for sure in a week.
The 2016 NFL Scouting Combine begins on Friday, February 26. Campus Sports will have full coverage of the event, including our risers and fallers as well as a new mock draft and big board.
