NFL Scouting Combine 2016: Cardale Jones injures hamstring during 40

One of the quarterbacks than many were anticipating watching at the NFL Scouting Combine was Ohio State’s Cardale Jones.

Unfortunately, the only thing people will see from him on Saturday is the 40-yard dash.

Jones pulled up at the end of his second 40 attempt in Indianapolis with what appeared like a hamstring injury. Kim Jones of NFL Network reported shortly thereafter that he told her that he was likely done for the day. This means that teams in attendance as well as those watching at home won’t be able to see him throw this weekend.

The next time Cardale Jones will have the opportunity to show what he can do is at Ohio State’s pro day on Friday, March 11. Hopefully, the hamstring issue is nothing too serious, and he’ll be able to participate in all the drills that day.
