Even when there is nothing going on between Oklahoma and Texas, the rivalry between the two schools never seems to be quiet.
Exhibit A is when Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson decided to take to Twitter to complain about the weather. While talking about the cloudy day being depressing, Jefferson added that Texans shouldn’t be upset about it because, as he put it, “OU still sucks.”

It’s safe to say that Oklahoma fans won’t be too thrilled with that little jab from left field. Texas supporters, on the other hand, are sure to love the shade thrown at their Red River Rival.
Needless to say, the excitement surrounding this year’s game between Oklahoma and Texas is certain to pick up sooner rather than later after this latest “incident”.
