Tom Brady congratulates Peyton Manning

On Sunday, it was made official that quarterback Peyton Manning was going to retire from the NFL after capturing the second Super Bowl championship of his career.

Throughout the day, well wishes have been pouring in for Manning, but none may be bigger than the one from the man many believe to be Manning’s greatest rival in the NFL.

In a post on Facebook, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady congratulated Manning on his career, said that Manning “made the game better”, and shared a picture of the two of them on the field after Denver knocked out New England in the AFC Championship Game. During the meeting, Manning had told Brady that “this might be it.”

You can check it out for yourself below.

Congratulations Peyton, on an incredible career. You changed the game forever and made everyone around you better. It’s been an honor.
