Golden State Warriors star guard Steph Curry played abysmally in his team’s Saturday night loss to the San Antonio Spurs, shooting just 4 0f 18 from the field (1 of 12 from three-point range) and being held to 14 points, but the reigning MVP is staying positive.
Shortly after the game, Curry took to Twitter and joked that his performance in the Warriors’ 87-79 loss was his “best of the year.”
I don’t know about y’all, but I thought I played my best game of the year 😂. Live and Learn. On to the next!

Though Warriors fans were surely in something of a panic, what with their team within reach of breaking the record for most wins in a regular season, Curry’s tweet is a testament to just how strong a player and leader he is.
While other players may get frustrated or beat themselves up after such a bad performance and loss, he has a sense of humor about it.
Clearly, he plans on getting right back on the horse and helping Golden State continue its quest for a second consecutive championship, with his poor game against the Spurs already a distant memory.
