Bill GM: Stanford’s Kevin Hogan most NFL-ready QB

Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley has been pretty open about his assessments of this draft quarterback class.

Last week on Sirius XM he said that he is open to drafting Jared Goff out of Cal and this week he let his thoughts be known about another quarterback from a northern California school.

Whaley said that Stanford quarterback Kevin Hogan is the most NFL-ready quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft. He backs up his statement saying that Hogan ran pro-style offense in college, which prepares him better to manage an offense at the next level.

This latest statement is another in a long line of signals that the Bills really like Hogan.Which is odd as most people don’t think he will come off the board until Day 3 of the draft. Or it could be some sort of ruse, trying to throw other teams off their scent.

This is the NFL Draft, and weirder things have happened so it would not be a surprise if that’s the case.
