March Madness 2016: Can Wisconsin make another Final Four run?

Just when we thought Wisconsin was out, they have pulled us back in. Fans didn’t expect the Badgers to be in a position to make a third consecutive run at the Final Four in 2016 and yet, here they are ready to take on Notre Dame in the Sweet Sixteen.

And this year’s team is very different from that of the past two years. Gone are dynamic center Frank Kaminsky III and electrifying shooter Sam Dekker, both of whom moved on to the NBA after last year’s run, when Wisconsin lost to Duke in the national championship game after handing Kentucky its first loss of the year in the Final Four.

In spite of that, however, Wisconsin appears not only ready, but absolutely determined to prove to any and all doubters that this year’s No. 7 tournament ranking is a fluke and that they can indeed win a title despite losing some key players.

That said, let’s dig a little deeper and find out just what makes this Wisconsin team tick.
