Julian Edelman still has a Blockbuster video game from 2004

Blockbuster Video was a thing of the past until New England Patriots wideout Julian Edelman reminded us of it today with a post on his Instagram.

Yes, folks. Like each and every one of us, Julian Edelman is human and forgets to return rentals sometimes. Fortunately for him, Blockbuster went bankrupt in 2010 (thanks, Netflix!) and went fully defunct in 2013 after being bought out by Dish Network.

Fortunately for Edelman, even if Blockbuster were still in business, his late fees would be capped at $10. However, let’s not also forget that a few independent Blockbuster franchises do still exist. In fact, there’s one in the Boston area!

That said, though he has the option to do so, the odds of Edelman returning Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow for XBox are slim.
