The University of Maryland has scheduled a non-conference basketball game with Oklahoma State for next season. Per CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, the game will be played at the XFinity Center in College Park on December 3.
Maryland will host Oklahoma State on 12/3 in College Park, source told @CBSSports. Return game of home-and-home series.

The Terps and Cowboys last played each other last season on December 21, 2014, when Maryland won 73-64 in Stillwater on the back of 21 points from Jake Layman.
And Maryland and Oklahoma State could both be two very different teams in 2016-17 than they were this past season. Keep in mind that the Terps could be losing two key players to the NBA Draft in Melo Trimble and Diamond Stone on top of Layman, who is graduating, and the Cowboys have the potential to be a new-look squad next season under new coach Brad Underwood, formerly of Stephen F. Austin.
Thus, take the tough man-to-man defense of Maryland and match it up with what should be a fast and aggressive offense of Stephen F. Austin, and it could wind up being a non-conference game for the ages.
