SEC Media Days have been taking place this week, with Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban kicking things off Wednesday morning at the podium.
Throughout a segment of his press conference, Saban received few questions from the media regarding the offseason arrests of star offensive tackle Cam Robinson and defensive back Hootie Jones.
For the most part, Saban received softball questions throughout his time at the podium.
So, as the SEC Network was about to cut to commercial, ESPN analyst Dari Nowkhah did not realize his microphone was live and he mocked the head coach’s relationship with the media.
Nowkhah said Saban “owns the media,” while making chicken noises.
ESPN broadcasters (not realizing mic was live) made chicken sounds and said Saban "owns the media" because nobody asked about Cam Robinson

Whoops.
Much to Nowkhah’s credit, however, he owned up to the mistake on air.
Hey, it’s live television, that stuff is going to happen from time to time.
