Utah summons Harambe’s spirit in recruiting graphic

One of the biggest stories over the summer came when Harambe, a beloved gorilla at a Cincinnati zoo, was shot and killed after a child fell into his exhibit. It seems that some universities are paying tribute to the animal and the Utah Utes are the latest to join the movement.

2017 four-star running back Sione Heimuli-Lund is currently listed as a hard commit to Stanford. However, the Utes have summoned the spirit of Harambe by sending him an awesome recruiting graphic.

Last week, Utah’s in-state rival BYU got a special Snapchat geo-filter paying tribute to the gorilla, while special Harambe shot glasses were unveiled earlier this week.

The Utes might not be in the running to land the Salt Lake City native, but they are certainly trying their hardest.
