What the LSU Tigers are lacking in College Football Playoff considerations they are making up for in confidence. Dwayne Thomas, defensive back for LSU, has gone on record that he expects a win when the Crimson Tide roll into Baton Rogue.
Not only that, he expects to dominate.
“I really see us dominating this offense. I really see us dominating this team,” Thomas said.
That’ll be no easy task. Alabama has looked like a war machine this season and LSU might lack the firepower to withstand the barrage. The Tigers have now lost five in a row against Alabama, including two games at home. The last time LSU won a game in this series was a 9-6 overtime win in 2011.
The Tigers have fared better under interim head coach Ed Orgeron, though. He is 3-0 since taking over for Les Miles; two of those games without star running back Leonard Fournette. Fournette will be active for the Tigers in this crucial SEC tilt. Both teams are coming off of a bye week and will be well rested and prepared for each other when the time comes.
Alabama is a 10-point favorite in this game.
