The Tennessee Volunteers entered the season with SEC Championship hopes, but a three-game losing streak in the middle of the season put an end to that possibility.
Despite the disappointing season, Vols head coach Butch Jones is attempting to find the silver lining.
On Monday, Jones spoke with the media and discussed the season when he made a comment that instantly became ammunition for Twitter trolls.
The Vols aren’t winning the SEC and won’t sniff the national title this season, but Jones claims the Tennessee football players have won the most important championship of all: the championship of life.
