It looks like Lane Kiffin’s time at Alabama is coming to an end.
For the past couple of weeks, Kiffin has been linked to a handful of job openings across the nation. According to LSU insider Michael Detillier of WWL-870, the Crimson Tide offensive coordinator’s final game with Alabama will be the SEC Championship Game.
Detillier passed along the news on 1045 ESPN Radio in Baton Rouge.

Kiffin has been linked to the offensive coordinator job at LSU under Ed Orgeron, his former colleague at USC and Tennessee. Kiffin has also been named as a candidate for the Houston Cougars head coaching job.
It’s hard to imagine Kiffin would leave Alabama prior to the national championship game for another coordinator gig, but only time will tell if the report proves to be true.
Kickoff for Kiffin’s potential Alabama farewell is set for 4 p.m. ET at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The game will air on CBS.
