Washington football team beats Alabama in bowling, go-kart racing

The Washington football team enters the College Football Playoff as underdogs against top-ranked Alabama, but they were able to get the early competitive edge on Monday night during Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl festivities.

The two teams competed in bowling and go-kart racing, with the Huskies getting the better of the Crimson Tide in both cases.

Could this create some positive momentum for the Huskies?

The two teams are set to face off at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on Saturday, Dec. 31.

Kickoff between the No. 4 Huskies and No. 1 Crimson Tide is set for 3 p.m. ET on ESPN. The winner will take on the winner of Clemson vs. Ohio State in the national championship game on Jan. 9 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
