Last season, Alabama beat Arkansas 27-14 in a game that wasn’t as close as the score suggested.
If Arkansas had won that game, a pizzeria in Fayetteville would have given away 1,000 free pizzas. But they didn’t. And Alabama is apparently so offended that these pizza promising punks tried to embarrass them with their cheesy slices last year, that they’ve scheduled their homecoming game against the Razorbacks in 2017.
The game will take place on Oct. 14.

How much this has to do with pizza is debatable. But one thing isn’t: if Alabama looks as good as they did last season, they’ll be all smiles for homecoming.
After looking like an impenetrable tank all season in 2016, the Crimson Tide fell in their final game of the season, the National Championship against Clemson. It seems highly likely that the Tide will be back in the College Football Playoff next season with a chance to avenge their loss.
Arkansas could very well end up being a footnote in another dominant season for the Tide.
