Georges St-Pierre’s return to the UFC is official.
The former welterweight champion is set to return to the Octagon for the first time since November of 2013 and it will be in a championship bout.
On Wednesday, UFC president Dana White announced GSP will be making his comeback against current 185-pound title holder Michael Bisping at a yet to be determined date.
White announced the news on ESPN’s SportsCenter.
How will St-Pierre fare against a bigger fighter with good takedown defense? We will have to wait until the bout is scheduled to see how the future Hall of Famer handles the challenge.
