You win some and you lose some, but sometimes the losses come in embarrassing fashion — just ask MMA fighter Clovis Hancock, who had a moment to forget Saturday night at LFA 7.
Hancock was facing off against Nikolay Veretennikov at Arena Theater in Houston, Texas, when he tried off a flashy technique.
Unfortunately for Hancock, things went terribly, terribly wrong.
Hancock’s capoeira kick attempt was nowhere close to connecting and his momentum sent him tumbling across the cage. Just … watch.

That was clearly a less than ideal situation.
But if that wasn’t embarrassing enough for Hancock, in the final round of the fight he learned what a well-placed kick can actually do when Veretennikov fed him his shin resulting in a knockout.
