Conservative political commentator Tomi Lahren is firing back.
After being fired from her gig on Glenn Beck’s “The Blaze” media platform, Lahren has filed a lawsuit in Dallas court for wrongful termination.
Lahren was fired after an appearance on “The View” where she expressed her pro-choice beliefs and that led to the suspension and ultimate termination of her show. Now, the 24-year-old is suing after not being able to publicly discuss the incident and while her Facebook page with millions of followers is being held hostage.
“No one told Plaintiff that her statements on the The View were either improper or inappropriate; and, indeed, Plaintiff’s point of view is just that – her point of view and freedom of expression,” the lawsuit alleges. “She was directed to stay away from her Facebook page and other social media, and she was prohibited from making public comments. Presumably, hoping they could find an exit strategy to sanitize their unlawful conduct.
“To add insult to injury, at [The Blaze’s] place of business, in irving, Texas, [The Blaze] employees stretched yellow caution tape spelling an ‘X’ on Plaintiff’s office/dressing room door.”
Lahren fired off a tweet that one could only assume is about the lawsuit in a recent tweet.
Lay down and play dead really isn't my style. #FinalThoughts
