The Alabama football program has lost some depth at linebacker.
According to a report from Matt Zenitz of AL.com, Shawn Jennings is no longer a member of the Crimson Tide. The news comes after Jennings took a redshirt in his freshman season a year ago.
Jennings came to Alabama as a three-star recruit.
The good news for Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban, however, is that he has one of the deepest rosters in all of college football and his team will have no problem shuffling the deck to get the most talented linebacking corp out on the field.
No reason was given for Jennings’ departure from the program.
